College Library
We have a well stocked library catering to the academic and non-academic interests of the students.There are twenty sets of encyclopedia and a great number of periodicals and news papers to keep the prospective teachers abreast of the latest in the world.
The institute library has a spacious reading hall.The library has about 5,000 books on different subjects including thousands of reference books.The library works under the open shelf system wherein the students have free access to the books.It subscribes to 8 daily newspapers, 10 magazines and 8 Journals on education.The library with its rich collection of books, wide range of Journals, provision of reference service, efficient lending facilities and skilled help from the library staff is rendering valuable assistance to the students desirous of excelling in their studies. |

Computer Lab
The institute has a well equipped computer lab including latest software, computer peripheral devices and internet services for integrating information and communication technologies with the teaching-learning process.Ten latest multimedia enabled computers function under a networking system.
The prospective teachers are thus exposed not only to the pedagogical practices but also to computer-based programme lessons and animated visuals.Use of LCD is made by the staff in delivering their lessons through multimedia presentations.This facilitates conceptual clarity, increases interactivity, eases content assimilation and also motivates the students to use this medium for delivering more visually effective lessons.
The lab also has provision for observing model lessons through TV, VCR and Overhead Projectors.
Computer literacy is essential for the prospective teacher and hence compulsory computer classes are held on a regular basis to make the students familiar with the basics. |

Auditorium
The institute has a centrally air conditioned state-of-the-art auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,100 with a spacious stage.It provides a fresh impetus to academic, literacy and cultural activities in the Institute, benefiting its pupil-teachers immensly.
Canteen
The institute has a canteen that caters to the needs of students for soft drinks, milk products and other eatables. |

Sports For Excellence
The sprawling campus has world class facility for varied disciplines including gymnastics, athletics, lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball, hockey and football.The enviable sports infrastructure includes a Multipurpose Gymnasium Hall with indoor deco-turf tennis court, play fields for hockey and football and two Basket ball courts.The construction of an indoor swimming pool is due to start shortly to complement the existing facilities.
Boarding Facility
There are separate hostels for boys and girls which are fully equipped with modern amenities.Those desirous can avail this facility by filling an application in the office.The hostellers are expected to observe discipline as per rules of the Institue.
Mess
The hostel Dining Hall is designed on modern lines with an adequate seating capacity.A nutritious and well balanced diet is served.those availing this facility are required to observe the timings and discipline.
Medical Facilities
The institute has a dispensary where medical facilities are made available. |
